Water Playground
Not a swimming pool, but a real water playground where you can actively play with everything that sprays water and needs to be filled with water! Splashes will hit you from all sides. Will you choose one of the slides or dare to stand under a huge bucket that empties at unexpected moments? Turn the various taps yourself to decide which pipes the water will flow from. The water playground offers wonderful refreshment during the hot weather of summer days. Surrounded by large palm trees and life-size dromedaries, you really feel like you’re in an oasis.
A water playground with a fairy-tale theme was deliberately chosen, offering stimulating challenges for younger and older children alike. The area for younger children has plenty of benches so that adults can sit close to their children. In the area where older children play, the benches are further away so that they have greater freedom.
The water playground is open from May to September until half an hour before closing time, when the weather is nice and the temperature is above 20 degrees. Access to the water playground is included in the entrance fee for Linnaeushof.
We do everything we can to keep the water playground open as often as possible, but this is only possible when the water values – such as chlorine and pH – are within safe limits. Because the pool is shallow and is used intensively by many children playing, these values can sometimes become unbalanced. This means that the water playground may be closed during your visit.
Would you like to be certain that the water playground is open today? Please feel free to call us for the most up-to-date status. We usually have a better overview of the situation from 11:00 a.m. onwards.

Water Playground
Linnaeushof identified a need for a safe environment where visitors could enjoy cooling off without the dangers of large crowds and deep water. A conscious decision was made to create a water playground with separate areas for younger and older children. In the section for younger children, for example, there are many benches so that adults can sit close to their children. When the children are a little older and start to explore the more exciting section, the benches are further away so that they have a greater degree of freedom.
